Postdoctoral Training Fellow - Ultrasound Physics and Engineering

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Training Fellow who is passionate about imaging, ultrasound and developing novel technologies to improve the way we treat cancer.
As part of the Harris “Imaging for Radiotherapy Adaptation” group, and in collaboration with the Bamber “Ultrasound and Optical Imaging” and Oelfke "Radiotherapy Physics Modelling" groups, you will lead the development of innovative new plane-wave and other techniques to maximise the value of 4D imaging sequences for the purpose of image guidance of radiotherapy. These developments will exploit the flexibility and channel data accessibility of the Verasonics Vantage research platform coupled with cutting-edge 2D ultrasound probe technology (2D matrix arrays, row-column arrays) to devise tailored solutions to solve real-world problems in therapy guidance using ultrasound.
