About us
The Research Department of Primary Care and Population Health is part of the Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care and is headed by Professor Greta Rait and Professor Kate Walters.
The Department’s strategic aim is to deliver high quality teaching primarily in community-based primary care and public health and to undertake a programme of internationally competitive multi-disciplinary research addressing the management and prevention of disease in individuals and populations in areas which are of priority to the health of the public.
The role will be based in the eHealth Unit which researches how to deliver non-pharmaceutical interventions, such as physiotherapy, psychological therapies and disease management, through online programmes and apps in primary and secondary care.
About the role
The post-holder will contribute to the NIHR-funded AIR SAFETY study, which will develop an Artificial Intelligence air Safety Tool (AISaT).
The post-holder will be mainly involved in the process evaluation of the implementation of AISaT but might also contribute to other work packages.
The postholder will be a social scientist with a doctoral or equivalent experience and will require an understanding of the NHS, qualitative research methods, and implementation research. They will need to be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
