Postdoctoral research fellow (m/w/d) with expected full-time employment – E 13 TV-L HU (third-party funding, limited until 31.12.2024)
We are looking for an excellent and highly motivated postdoc candidate or experienced researcher interested in research in the field of bioorganic chemistry and cell biological studies.
The project involves the development of a new method for labeling protein and glycan cell surface molecules with responsive fluorescent dye for the the determination of properties of the hydrogel layer on healthy and infected lung epithel. This involves cloning and expression of tagged membrane proteins in human cell lines; solid phase peptide synthesis and conjugation chemistry; fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry, as well as tasks for own scientific qualification.
Requirements: Completed Master and PhD in the field of bio-organic chemistry, chemical biology or biochemistry, practical experience in chemical synthesis, cell biological studies, protein labeling, fluorescence imaging desirable. Very good written and spoken English skills, ability to do interdisciplinary work and transdisciplinary communication.
