Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join teams led by Professor Adam Mead and Associate Professor Beth Psaila in the MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine (WIMM), working in collaboration with Alethiomics, a University spin-out company.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects to apply innovative single cell multi-omic techniques to identify new strategies for the treatment of blood cancers, and to validate these targets using in vitro and in vivo models.
You will hold a relevant PhD/DPhil (or be close to completion: thesis submitted at time of application) together with some experience in a field relevant to the project. You will have a thorough understanding of basic scientific principals and possess sound experience of relevant laboratory skills. It is essential you will have an ability to accurately follow and adapt complex experimental protocols; to critically evaluate results, and to communicate your findings to the team as well as to external collaborators.
This position is available full-time for 2 years, funded by Alethiomics Limited.
Applications for this vacancy are to be made online. You will be required to upload a CV and supporting statement as part of your online application.
