Trainee Economist: PhD work/study post

    Location: This role will be based in Unite’s Central Office in Holborn

    Salary: Grade 7 – £41,297.00 per annum full time [pro rata £20,649.00] Plus £4,358.00 per annum London Allowance [pro rata £2,179.00], plus PhD tuition fees

    (Rising to £44,190.00 per annum full time [pro rata £22,095.00] after 12 months in post)

    Contract Type: 5 year Fixed Term Part-time at Unite, Part-time at Greenwich University

    Hours: 17 Hours per Week at Unite the Union and 17 Hours per Week at Greenwich University

    Benefits: 36 days annual leave (pro rata), London Allowance plus a pension scheme

    This is a new and unique opportunity to study for a PhD in Economics at the University of Greenwich Business School, while working as a Trainee Economist in Unite’s exciting new investigative research department.

    Candidates are required to submit a Research proposal of 1500 words (excluding references) with their application.
