2 Postdoc Opportunities in Nutrigenomics

    About the Project
We offer 2 fully-time Postdoctoral Associates to be part of an interdisciplinary team of researchers led by prof. Carsten Carlberg. In general WELCOME2 project is focusing on the application of omics technologies to life sciences, particularly nutrigenomics, to investigate the effects of food and food constituents on gene expression in human and animal, and how genetic variations may affect development of diet-related diseases. Research group’s goal is to investigate the effect of vitamin D and other nutritional compounds on changes of the epigenome and transcriptome of tissues and cell types of healthy and (pre)diseased individuals. Two hired Postdoctoral Associates will be primarily responsible for bioinformatic analysis and integration of multi-omics datasets, such as generated by RNA-seq, ATAC-seq and ChIPmentation. Wet-lab experience in performing these assays would be an important add-on.
