    Designing First PhD Study (Psychology)

    User: NER - 26 October 2021 11:53

    Hi guys,

I'm just wondering if any of you have any advice on designing my first PhD study. My discipline is Psychology (though I have no prior Psychology experience and the approach is an interdisciplinary one).

My first study will likely be a broad survey of both fixed and free text entries.

Are there any particular texts you'd recommend on designing studies?

How long did it take you and what did you do?

    Thanks guys :-)

It depends on what you want to measure/capture as to which methods and designs are most appropriate. Your supervisor might also have certain expertise or preferences that may affect your decisions here.
