I am extremely anxious and nervous about my viva. Initially it was hoped to be 3 months away but now, because of circumstances outside my control, it’s 2 months away. The biggest anxiety on my mind about my thesis and the viva is the impact covid has had on it. Covid interrupted my human intervention study leaving me with limited data that a) I had to analyze differently than intended b) was horribly underpowered. Because of this I added another chapter to my thesis but it’s not a stand alone chapter. A lot of the work in the thesis is novel, it’s interesting but ultimately the lack of data is.. bad.

I haven’t heard from people in a similar situation, in fact I don’t know anyone who is but I feel there must be someone who has gone through the same thing with Covid.
Has anyone had this happen for their thesis/viva? If so what happened?

Also when / how did you prep for your viva?
