User: Fatima786 - 18 November 2020 12:21 Hello, recently i am doing Master in computing with professional placement and i am in my placement year then i will do dissertation next year till april . i got p2 to p5 marks in my subjects in first year. i want to know can i get a chance to apply for funded PHD in scotland or is it hard for me because i didnt get distinction in subjects score. OR should i apply MBA or DBA fully funded? please guide. regards FATIMA

However, grades are not the only way of assessing PhD candidates, so you probably have a chance. Supervisors want to see ability and potential. So if you can draw upon previous experience with genuine enthusiasm you can make yourself look like a good candidate without the grades.
