The successful candidate will assist in the running of the fluorescence imaging facilities within the DIT Focas Research Institute. These comprise confocal laser scanning microscopy, live cell imaging and flow cytometry. The appointee will contribute to a number of ongoing research projects within the Focas Research Institute and will assist in the supervision and training of postgraduate students. Applicants should possess: • An Honours Degree from an approved degree awarding institutions or equivalent in Physical or Life Sciences • A Research degree, normally PhD • Proven expertise and experience (at least 2 years experience required) in fluorescence imaging and flow cytometry.
