Location: Bracknell, Berkshire, UK 2 years’ contract to start ASAP An opportunity has arisen for a Post Doctoral Scientist in ecological modelling to work in the Environmental Safety area. The successful candidate will apply toxicokinetic (TK, PB/PK) modelling to wildlife ecological risk assessments for pesticides and implement TK into individual-based models. Education: PhD or equivalent with good quantitative and communication skills, as you will be required to help supervise students. Experience with population modelling, TK modelling or other types of modelling is an advantage. The role is based at Jealott’s Hill but European travel will be required. The position is part of the EU FP7 Initial Training Network CREAM (http://cream-itn.eu/). CREAM projects are related to developing ecological models for the risk assessment of chemicals, primarily pesticides.
