Fixed Term Contract for 6 months You will be involved in research and development activities of an NHS West Midlands Innovation funded project for reliable hospital ward supply chain, in collaboration with academic partners and public service providers. You will manage day to day activities to research, develop, pilot and evaluate an RF-ID-based Kanban system in two wards at the University Hospital, Coventry, Warwickshire. You will possess a minimum of a 2.1 honours degree and a Masters level qualification in information science, computing, engineering or equivalent. You will have experience of research and development on supply chain management together with experience of developing ICT applications for web and stand-alone systems using C, C++, Java, .Net technologies. You will have excellent analytical skills to analyse and interpret data and you will be skilled in applying user-centered design practices, e.g., interviewing, focus-groups, contextual enquiry, user needs analysis, participatory design, and usability testing. |
