Postdoc position at the Medical University Innsbruck/Austria We offer a postdoc position in an interdisciplinary research environment at the ENT department of the Medical University Innsbruck (4D-Visualization Lab, see www.voxelmaster.eu). Job description: • development of a new automatic registration device for navigated surgery around the head • employ a functional model • pre-clinical testing • publication of results Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a background in (medical) image processing, C++, ITK, VTK, FLTK (ideally IGSTK), QT (optional). Background in 3D-tracking, material sciences, and/or engineering of medical devices will be an asset. Start: As early as spring 2010 for a duration of 1,5 a. Continuation is possible. We offer an attractive salary at the Austrian level including full social benefits.
