    As part of its interdisciplinary research program, MIC/VET invites candidates with a master or PhD degree in physics, material science, engineering, chemistry or molecular biology to apply for PhD or postdoctoral positions in microfabricated Lab-on-a-Chip (Bio-MEMS) for rapid detection and typing of avian influenza (bird-flu). You should have knowledge of one or more of the fields: design and fabrication of microsystems, optical detection methods, clean room fabrication, fabrication of polymer microsystems, microfluidics.
