    Project: Self-assembling DNA nanostructures offer the possibility to arrange organic and inorganic components with nanometer precision in space. We employ DNA self-assembly and in particular DNA origami to create plasmonic architectures and to investigate new nanophotonic effects.

    Requirements: The postdoc candidate for this position is expected to have a strong background in physics and / or optics and should be interested in applying softmatter approaches to physics.

    The position is paid according to TV-L 13. TV (or TVÖD) stands for Tarifvertrag im Öffentlichen Dienst, the tariff for German civil service employees. For a single person this means a gross salary starting from about €3.500 to €3.900 per month and about €3.900.

    3 paid vacation days. Up to 14 months compensated parental leave possible.
