The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology is an internationally renowned Cambridge-based centre for fundamental biomedical research.
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Scientist position in the group of Dr Ingo Greger to study AMPA-glutamate receptor-mediated synaptic plasticity. In collaboration with Prof. Ole Paulsen (Cambridge University) and Dr Jason Chin (MRC LMB) the project is aimed at elucidating AMPA receptor dynamics during synaptic plasticity using orthogonal chemistry, electrophysiology and super-resolution light microscopy techniques.
For this interdisciplinary project, candidates should have a PhD and good experience with electrophysiological recordings as well as imaging techniques. For further information please contact Dr I. Greger (

Successful applicants will be awarded a fixed term Career Development Fellowship/MRC Postdoctoral Training Scheme until 10 August 2019. The fellowship is a training and development position for a post-doctoral scientist who has recently completed their doctoral studies, or is moving into a new research discipline.
