We are seeking a high-quality synthetic (inorganic/organic) chemist to be involved in the Quantum-Interference Enhanced Thermoelectrics (QUIET) project. The latter is a joint project between the Albrecht, Cohen and Long Groups at Imperial College and the Lambert Group at Lancaster University. It aims at the synthesis and characterisation of new molecules and their thermoelectric properties, as well as their theoretical description, at the single- and many-molecule levels. Particular focus is on molecules towards the electric and thermal transport measurements using (electrochemical) Scanning Tunnelling Microscopy (STM) in graphene-based nanojunctions.
