Working under the supervision of Professor Margaret (Mandy) MacLean you will make a leading contribution to the project focusing on the role of microRNA96 in pulmonary arterial hypertension.
With a comprehensive knowledge of vascular disease, research and biology the postholder will conduct, manage and publish research in the area of microRNAs in pulmonary hypertension. The work is funded by the MRC and will involve pre-clinical in vivo models as well as a molecular/cellular approach. The postholder will also assist in managing and directing this complex and challenging project and make a significant contribution to knowledge in this field in support of the College/Institute research group strategies.
This post has funding for up to 3 years in the first instance.
