    The department seeks to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Assistant and two PhD studentships to join the OceanBug research team led by Prof. Ros Rickaby and will work under her supervision as part of the ERC “APPELS” project, based in the Department of Earth Sciences. The APPELS project (A Periodic Probe of the Elements for life in the sea) aims to explore the expanse of the periodic table for novel elements essential for marine phytoplankton and to define the modern marine metallome/metalloproteome.
