    Please note that this is a full time, fixed term post for up to 24 months subject to funding and/or project completion.

    The postholder will be based at Capenhurst Nuclear Services Ltd in Cheshire for 80% of their time with regular visits to the University.

    The Centre for Lean Projects at NTU is one of the UK’s leading research centres focused on developing the new the project production philosophy of “Lean Construction”. An opportunity has arisen to work in partnership with Capenhurst Nuclear Services Ltd to develop a new lean project production system for the delivery of a significant project portfolio. This system will focus on collaborative human engagement to create certainty within project delivery and will demand the creation of innovative solutions to real world problems. The Knowledge Development Associate (KDA) will be based within the company at their Cheshire office and the knowledge development project offers the successful candidate significant career enhancement opportunities.

    Applications are sought from suitably qualified candidates with appropriate research skills to develop and advance lean project production knowledge within the company, its supply chain, consultants, funders and industry regulators with the support of Professor Christine Pasquire under the industrial supervision of Mr Anders Timms, Continuous Improvement Manager, CNS Ltd.
