We are seeking a talented and motivated Postdoctoral Scientist with a PhD in biological science to work in the group of Dr. Marco Tripodi.
The project is aimed to understand the genetics of neural circuit assembly and function in health and disease, with a particular focus on circuits controlling automatic and goal oriented movements in mice. (

The ideal candidate will have experience in molecular biology, cell biology and mouse genetics and a strong interest to apply these skills in the context of neural circuit assembly. A collaborative, open minded and friendly attitude is essential as the candidate is expected to work closely with other members of the lab within a multidisciplinary research group whose aim is to understand the logic of motor circuit assembly and function.

http://www2.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk). The institute has a long history of excellence and is affiliated with the University of Cambridge. The new LMB building was recently inaugurated and offers state-of-the-art facilities.
The successful candidate will be awarded an MRC Career Development Fellowship/MRC Postdoctoral Training Scheme, for a three year period. This is a training and development position for a Postdoctoral Scientist who has recently completed doctoral studies or is moving into a new research discipline.
